Ballet

Our Classical Ballet courses follow the British Theatre Dance Association syllabus. Classes are designed to grow with your child from toddlers through Primary including all BTDA examination grades from age 3-19.

Studying ballet encourages and nurtures a child’s passion for dance, confidence and an understanding of their body and movement. It is widely recognised as an aid for fitness as well as posture and poise. It is a disciplined class teaching structure and technique. Term by term we will focus on examinations, medal tests or show work in turn.

Baby ballet classes start from the age of 2.5 where they learn good toes and naughty toes. By school time they progress through Preparatory and Primary up to Grade 1. Classes for baby ballet are fun but disciplined so as they learn right and wrong.

Ballet students should wear the recommended uniform from the BTDA relevant to their age range as well as ballet socks and shoes.

We offer FREE TRIALS for anyone wishing to come and try Ballet or any other of our classes. If you have not danced extensively before don't worry, we endeavour to put you into a class with similar age and ability.
